The Writer

Read first then write.  This can be a resume of the two quotations above. It’s like a model of reading and writing when we were kids in elementary school.

That time we learned to read a letter by letter. After that we learned to write a letter by letter. Then we learned to read a word by word and learned to write a word by word. Finally it developed  into  learning to read and write an essay or story.

Without us knowing, that lesson directly or indirectly contributed in the ways of blogging. Only we must interpret it specifically, deeper and intensively.

If we want to make a blog about technology, so we must know about technology and things that related to it. If we want to make a blog about cooking, so we must know about cooking and things that related to it.  Principally, if we want to make a blog about a certain field, we must know about that certain field and things that related to it.

The next step is seeing the other blogs for  some purposes like :

  • As comparison, especially for good and famous blogs.
  • To imitate a little from them.
  • To get inspired from them.
  • As our additional knowledges about blog
Not only see many blogs, but we maybe need to read many articles from them before we write our own articles. Reading in here can mean to search idea or topic to be written. Or to get and to know the ways to make a good and interesting articles.

Finally when  we feel that we are ready to start blogging, we can choose a certain blog server / software to make our own site blog. We can choose a free or paid one. For beginners who just try to be a blogger, I think it’s better if we choose a free one. Then if we suitable,  satisfied and serious to be a blogger, maybe we can upgrade it into a paid one.

Happy blogging !
